Teacher Cards Gift Set

One thing I love to make is card gift sets and I always make them as teacher gifts.  I love and appreciate how hard my kids teachers work.  So for teacher appreciation week I like to show them my appreciation with something hand made by me ....along with a practical, and always favorite gift card!  I love hand made, but also give a sure to love item too!

So here is my teacher appreciation gift card set for this year.  I used my new favorite Gift Bag Punch Board to make the bag (size- large).  Coincidentally, it is on sale until Tuesday for $15 (regular $20)...see below for link.  I also used the SchoolHouse Designer Series Paper as my focal point and the crumb cake note cards (another favorite and easy to use pre-cut card). I did a few variations on the card fronts, which do you like better?!

Like the card set...the products I used are below.  Click on the links to go to my webstore to order.

I am also offering a To Go Kit.

Sweet and Simple Thank You Notes

Hello!

As a stamper/crafter, I love to dress up just about anything.  So when I need a little note, I like to make it pretty, but not too time consuming (because it is usually last minute!).  So here are a few thank you notes I made this weekend in a flash.  The are simple, one sided notes perfect for a little thank you or a little note.

Here our the products I used for this project:

SAB: Lotus Blossom

Last month at Stamp Club we made this simple card, using the Sale-A-Bration stamp set, Lotus Blossom.  I think it is a very simple card, but love the way it turned out.  This was the first stamp set on my wish list when the SAB brochure was released.  I can imagine making lots of these in no time, or making a quick card that looks elegant with little details.  You can't really see it in the photo but the flower has lots of detail from the 3 step stamping that was put into it.

What is your favorite SAB item this year?

New Occassions Catalog & Simple Stems

After many, many months of Christmas projects I am excited to have new fresh spring products to play with. Here is an easy project I made with a new stamp set called Simple Stems.  I love the fresh flower look and if you look at the DSP you can see a sneak peak at one of the upcoming Saleabration items, designer series paper.

Keep an eye out for more Occassions projects in the coming days.

October Paper Pumpkin Remake: Thank You's

Hello!

When I received my October Paper Pumpkin (a monthly kit by mail program from Stampin' Up!), I was really excited.  I love anything to keep organized, and lists are one of my favorites.  I also like to make notebook, calendar and other organization type gifts.  So when I seen the 'notes' stamp, I was excited!  Anyone else agree?!  I imagined finally having a cute stamp to add to my notebook covers, a cute stamp for my post it note holders.... I couldn't wait to use it.  Well, I haven't done my notebooks, but I did make a card with the stamp and Another Thank You Stamp set inspired by Mercedes Weber.  I took me 45 minutes to create these cute cards for some customer orders.  I hope they like them!

By the way, I just got a sneak peak at the November Paper Pumpkin and OMG!!!!!! So cute!  If you want to find out more about Paper Pumpkin click here.  I have to say, I love getting a pretty box of stampin projects in the mail.

Kindness Matters

Hello Everyone,

I have been doing so many projects with the Sale-a-Bration 2012 paper and sets lately, that I thought I would take a BRIEF break from those projects to make a different Sale-A-Bration project.  This card features a free item that is in the SAB catalog, but also in the main Idea Book and Catalog.  I have had my eye on this stamp set for a while and quickly selected it as a free SAB item as soon as I was able to.

This card is a partial-case from the SAB catalog.  In the SAB catalog, they featured this paper pleated ribbon technique I used on this card.  I tried it on mine and added a few of my own touches.  It really gives some depth to the card and has a nice WOW factor in person.  All I did was put snail on the back edge of my Cherry Cobbler cardstock and glued and pleated the strip of Soft Suede CS (punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch) the whole way across the paper.  It is up to you how "pleated" you want your paper ribbon.

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Kindness Matters
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso
Paper: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede\
Accessories: Dotted scallop ribbon border punch, Modern Label punch, Word window punch, bakers twine-cherry cobbler, Designer Frames embossing folder, two-way glue pen, dazzling diamonds, Glass Glitter- Champagne
Enjoy!
