JULY PAPER PUMPKIN: POSITIVELY PICTURESQUE

Once a month, I get a cute little orange box in the mail filled with lots of goodies.  I anxiously wait for the box and feel like it's Christmas every time I open it! I love the surprise factor each time I open it.  Plus, it is the one time a month I can count on something fun in the mailbox!

This month's kit was Positively Picturesque:
The Positively Picturesque kit came with the Positively Picturesque Stamp Set, Soft Sky and Tranquil Tide ink spots, 4 standard card bases (2 ea. of 2 colors), 4 sheets white die cuts (2 ea. of 2 designs), 4 note card bases (2 ea. of 2 designs, 4 printed standard envelopes, 4 printed note card envelopes, 2 printed flower cardstock pieces, 1 sheet of 8 die cut stickers, 3 sheets die cut elements, 12 wood cuts, 5 yds. pink washi tape, 5 yds. blue washi tape, 65 dimensionals, and 100 adhesive dots.

That's a lot of project materials! This month's kit was super cute as always. Here is a short video on the project kit.

Free Stamp Set In April's Kit

I am so excited about getting April's Paper Pumpkin Kit. In April's kit, there will be a bonus, free stamp set!!  The Paper Pumpkin's kits are always soooo good and a super exciting treat in the mail. But, bonus stamps....Wooohhoooo!!  If you are ready to get it or find out more, click HERE!  Or read on for more details.

What comes in my Paper Pumpkin?
It's a surprise each month—anticipation for the surprise is seriously half the fun! No worries, though, you'll have everything you need to complete the project: paper, stamps, ink, accessories, and more! (You will need adhesive.)  Your first kit will come with an acrylic block too!

My two cents:
These are perfect for busy people, who love to create but have little time!  Or, for a group of friends that want to get together on a lunch break or over coffee and craft.  Or for moms with kids (mine started at 6/7) to have a special monthly activity with the kids that is easy and fun.  Or for ANYONE, who love to make cute projects and have all the prep work, ideas and cutting, done for them!! (me!)

What does it cost?
$19.95 for one kit, that includes shipping!!

Here are a few pictures of kits so you get an idea of what these are.

Here is my favorite kit so far:

You usually have extra materials to make more projects.  Here are some extra note cards I made with the extra embellishments:

Convention 2014 Wrap Up: Wednesday Night

Well it came and went super fast... Inspire. Create. Share (aka Convention 2014).  It was such a fun 3 1/2 days...as always there were many wonderful display boards, great demonstrations, and fun make and takes.  Here is a quick wrap up on the weeks events:

Wednesday Night:
I arrived in SLC at 4pm on Wednesday.  The first event was a Paper Pumpkin night out at 6 this evening.  I forgot about the time change in Utah, so we arrived an hour later that I expected.  After a run to the hotel to change and get a bite to eat I was off.  It was a fun casual event with a sneak peak make and take :

This project was part of an upcoming kit that is Halloween themed kit.  It includes several of these bags to make and an 8 piece (I believe) stamp set.  The stamps alone are worth the price of the kit ($20 in case you were wondering:).  I CAN'T WAIT to get it in the mail.  There is nothing better than getting the cute little red box in the mail and running inside to open it to find out what is inside.

After the make and take we took pictures and had way too many desserts.

I created a slideshow with some photos of Paper Pumpkin, what the kits come with (that seems to get better and better every month) and some alternate ideas of what else people have made with the kits.  Click HERE TO SEE THE SLIDESHOW.

Click HERE to go to my Paper Pumpkin site to find out more about it or to sign up.  Enter promo code HALFOFF2 to get 50% off your first 2 months (for new subscribers only).

Come back tomorrow for another Convention Wrap Up and some a Project Life by Stampin' Up!

October Paper Pumpkin Remake: Thank You's

Hello!

When I received my October Paper Pumpkin (a monthly kit by mail program from Stampin' Up!), I was really excited.  I love anything to keep organized, and lists are one of my favorites.  I also like to make notebook, calendar and other organization type gifts.  So when I seen the 'notes' stamp, I was excited!  Anyone else agree?!  I imagined finally having a cute stamp to add to my notebook covers, a cute stamp for my post it note holders.... I couldn't wait to use it.  Well, I haven't done my notebooks, but I did make a card with the stamp and Another Thank You Stamp set inspired by Mercedes Weber.  I took me 45 minutes to create these cute cards for some customer orders.  I hope they like them!

By the way, I just got a sneak peak at the November Paper Pumpkin and OMG!!!!!! So cute!  If you want to find out more about Paper Pumpkin click here.  I have to say, I love getting a pretty box of stampin projects in the mail.
