Fall Vendor Fair

Hello!

 

Today I participated in a Fall Vendor Sale.  As you can see from the above table, I took lots of stuff!  My table had no room on it when I was done setting up! lol  Overall, it was a good event.  I focused my handmade items on small gifts, cards and card sets.  The things that sold best were the gift items.  I think we are all looking for small gifts this time of year for neighbors, coworkers and other people we want to give a "little something" to.  I do have some left over, so please contact me if you would like to order any.  I will gladly calculate shipping and try to be efficient (and as cheap as possible) with shipping.

This cute box is a Tag A Box from Stampin' Up!.  It is decorated with Stampin' Up! DSP, washi tape and ribbon and filled with 2 Krueig pods, 4 coffee cookies, and choclates.

Notebooks with Pens :$4.  Both of these are good teacher gifts or coworker gifts.

Smore Kits: $2.50.  This one got a lot of attention too.  I think everyone love a good smore!

Today I am working on some Craft Fair items for a vendor sale I am participating in this weekend. I cased these from Pinterest and had lots of fun making them. The marshmallows are peeps and the rest are standard s'more essentials.

Altered Mini Coffee Cups- SU style!

 

 

 

Hello!

I saw a project on Becky Roberts blog that I fell in love with....Mini Coffee Cups dazzled with Stampin' Up! designer series paper (DSP) and stamps!  She stated she got the idea from Deb Valder's blog.  So right away I searched for the mini cups, found some inexpensive 100 packs on Amazon and could not wait to create!  I filled these with a few choclates covered in matching DSP, added a little raffia and viola!- a cute little favor or gift. 

What do you think?!  Measurements can be found on the link above...although I cut her template a little bigger to give the cup better coverage.

October Stamp A Stack

Good Morning,

Last week was my monthly Stamp a Stack class in Elk Grove, California.  Each month participants make 10-12 projects in 3 fun hours.  These are the projects that they made.  I was not able to host the class, but my friend Alisha took my place.  I heard everyone had a great time!  The goal this month was to make a couple Halloween projects and some masculine cards.

Halloween Ideas from Convention

One of my favorite parts of Convention was the dozens of demonstrations of holiday projects. It is now August and I have already spent a few weeks thinking of Halloween and Christmas projects! I can't help it, I love holiday projects;) LOL For the past two years my husband has gone all out on Halloween. He decorates, creates a haunted house...he basically goes crazy! So when they featured an entire hour on Halloween home decor projects I was in HEAVEN. The pumkin project was my favorite. The words are Definately Decorative elements that you simply rub on the pumkins. Easy! The jewels are pre-swirled on a sheet and you just cut them and put them on the pumkin with a transfer sheet. Super easy too.

With the same sheet of Definately Decorative Halloween elements Brent (the SU presenter) made luminaries, like the one above. Imagine those on your door steps!

This Haunted House is my second favorite project. It is a pre-cut build a house item that will be in the Holiday Mini in September. When you look in the mini catalog it is decorated for Christmas as a Gingerbread House. Brent spray painted it black, sprinkled some SU Dazzling Diamonds and added some bats he made with the new bat punch. How COOL is that! He didn't stop there, he then added vellum to the window and added a flicker candle inside.

This was a skeleton garland he made and dazzled it up with chunky glitter.

And of course, there has to be favors filled with candy at any Halloween event. Here are some cute ones. Don't you love the adorable witch hats!

Halloween Invitation

We are having our 2nd Annual Halloween Party this month and this is the invitation I made for it. My husband loves halloween and does a haunted house in the garage. I thought this stamp set "House of Haunts" was perfect for the occassion. I embossed the haunted house so that it "popped" a bit.

Halloween Treats w/ Rub Ons

Hello Everyone,

I am busy making halloween treats and cards for our annual party and for my stamp club. Here is a really easy to make treat jar. I used a Starbucks Frappachino bottle for this, washed it and applied my Halloween themed SU rub on. It is hard to see from the picture but I used the greeting and several bats on this jar. Rub ons are easy. You just cut out the image you want and use the popsicle stick to rub in on the surface. You can use it on glass, paper and many other surfaces.





To cover up the brand on the top I used the center of my halloween stamp in the Sweet Centers kit, colored it in with my stampin' markers, punched it off with my circle punch and added a black scallop circle to decorate the top. I finished it off with a ribbon tied in a knot and viola!- a cute treat jar with rub ons.

Sweet Centers Halloween

Here is a card I did over the weekend with my Sweet Centers stamp set (Holiday Mini product). Sorry about the picture. I need a new camera! I also used my House of Haunts set for the greeting. You can try it with any colors but I used Pumkin paper, old olive, rich razzleberry and basic black.

Halloween Sweet Treat Card

A couple days ago I did this card using my new Sweet Treats stamp set from the holiday mini. I went out to the grocery store and bought some black jelly beans to fill this cup. These cards are really easy to make all you need is:

• Sweet Treat Stamp Set
• Cardstock -Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White and Dusty Durango
• Ink- Old Olive
• 1 3/4 circle punch
• Candy
• Sweet Treat Cups

In this stamp set you also get a christmas ornament stamp, hot air balloon, valentine's heart and petals and leaves to make flowers (see older post). I hope you like it!

Halloween, already!?

It is almost time for Halloween!- kindof. At my house getting ready for halloween starts really early. In fact, we are off to a late start this year. My husband loves halloween and I must say it has grown on me too the last few years. So, I finally got my holiday stamps order...wow...I have 10 new stamp sets to play with. I made a quick card and treat box with the Free Hostess Stamp Set- Holiday Best. I really liked this stamp set because you get 4 different holiday stamps in one set. To earn this set all you have to do is host a workshop and have a total sales of $150. Plus, you get another $15 in merchandise!

Back to the Halloween Stuff... For the card and box I used basic black, old olive and rich razzleberry CS and basic black ribbon. The box was done with Box #2 die with my Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.
