February Stamp Club Projects

So, I am a little behind in posting these!  However, I love when I get reminders to post and ideas on blog posts.  It makes me feel like I am not just posting to nothing...lol!  So, thanks Donna for the reminder and for following my blog ;)

These projects were using some of the Occassions Catalogs goodies.  I used the Rose Wonder set for two of the cards.  Starburst Sayings was the fun set for the SHINE card.  Party Pants is the stamp set on the balloon card.  This is a free SAB set that you can earn when you spend $50 (until Mar 30).  Lastly, the Easter Treat box is using one of my favorite treat boxes.  See my 3/14 blog post for those details.

Want an excuse to get together with friends?!  Call me over and we can have a stamp party, create a stamp class or club!  This is the highlight of my month to gather with friends and create!

Wedding Shower and Favors

Hello!

I can't it's been almost two months since my last blog post!  I have been busy, stamping always, but busy.  Last month our niece got married and I had fun helping her with some decorations and wedding details.  I thought I'd share some of the items with you.  Above is a banner I made for her bridal shower, using a Stampin' Up!'s Chalkboard Banner Simply Created Kit.  It was really easy to make, I used actual chalk and stencils from the Simply Created Build a Banner Kit (which I have used numerous times!).  The Chalkboard kit came with other colors to add on, but I choose to use the wedding colors instead.

I also made tags for these simply nail polish favors.  They were printed on the computer and punched out with a couple circle punches.

Another item I made was favors for the wedding.  These favors were easy to make with hershey's nuggets, inexpensive and they custom made tag gave them an elegant look.  They were also easy to mass produce since the tag shape coordinated perfectly with the Decorative Label Punch.

Well, that is not all.  I also made invitations (or shall I say the bride and I did).  This will be another blog post! lol

Below are some extra materials that you can use to make banners.  Keep them in mind for your next party!

Forever & Always

I can't get enough of the Everyday Enchantment DSP paper from the 2012 SAB catalog! I have to fight back the urge to use it with every project these days.  This card was cased from a friend of mine, who cased it from someone else.  Somewhere down the road the original designer was lost.  If this is yours, let me know and I will credit you.  I just loved the simplicity and colors!

Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Loving Thoughts, Apothecary Art
Ink: Pool Party, Early Expresso, Lucky Limeade
Paper: Lucky Limeade, Everyday Enchantment DSP, Very Vanilla, Pool Party
Accessories: Framelits-Labels, Pearls, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch

Happy I Do Day

When I do Stamp classes I get lots of requests for Thank You and Birthday cards. They are the most commonly used and that is what people like to do the most. However, every now and then I get invited to a wedding or baby shower and think, if only I had a card ready to go for this. So my goal is to branch out in these next few months and in between holiday projects also do some versatile greeting cards.

Today's post is a Wedding card. I am not sure if you can see it clearly, but the "o" on do has a rinestone on it. Isn't that so appropriate for a wedding card! I love embellishments. No, I don't have a wedding to go to, but it is nice to have things on hand just in case, right?!

Here is the recipe to this card. This is another quick and easy one!

Stamps: Word Play
Ink: Baja Breeze
Paper: Basic Gray CS, Very Vanilla CS, Baja Breeze CS, Elegant Soiree DSP
Accessories: Rhinestones, Paper Piercer and mat

Sweet Wedding Congratulations Card

A second request for my CSD class was a wedding card. I just love weddings and had the perfect stamp set in mind to use. This set is called "Wedding Sweet". It is the perfect set to make your own wedding invitations or anything else wedding related. I am not sure if you can see it, but, I added a little sparkle to the card with SU's dazzling diamonds. It gives it an extra special touch. In the next few months I will be posting more wedding items. But, for now here is the congratulations card and the recipe:
Paper: Bashful Blue CS, Choclate Chip CS, Whisper White CS
Ink: Choclate Chip,
Stamps: Wedding Sweet
Accessories: Choclate Chip Satin Ribbon, Scallop Oval Punch, Large Oval Punch, Two Way Pen, Dazzling Diamonds

Wedding Preview

I am starting to make samples for my new wedding collection. As some of you know, I LOVE weddings. I had a blast planning mine years ago and love to do anything wedding related. I plan to provide wedding invitation, favor and other decor services. I don't have all of the details worked out yet, but here is a sneak peak at one of the samples.
