Stampin Up Convention 2013 Swaps

One of the highlights of Convention is getting TONS of new creative ideas.  I signed up for three swaps this year: Wow/Moving Cards Swap, New Catalog Stamp Sets Swap, and of course, a Christmas swap (I love Christmas!).  I like to do organized swaps because I feel that everyone is on somewhat the same page of how much effort to put into them and there are guidelines.  Overall, I was really happy with the swaps I made and got in return.

 There is something about stars I love.  This tag was somewhat of a case from the new catalog and I just added it to a card with an embossed background.

I won a Prize Patrol

I've been to Convention for 4 years (I think) now and I have always been so excited for the women who have been lucky enough to win a Proze Patrol. Usually it's a bundle of some sort, always something I am dying to have. Well I just WON!!!!! I was so excited. I won the Merry Little Christmas stamp set, Merry Little Christmas Simply Sent Kit and a silver Encore Ink Pad.  Oh winning a prize is soooo much fun! 

More Convention Fun

Today was a fun, busy, inspiring day.

First of was a main session were we saw Shelli step on stage tons of cute projects. They also announced several new products.

1- undefined: a set to make your very own unique stamps.  It looked kinda cool. They gave us a sample to try.

2- An envelope maker board (not official name :) You can easily make envelopes in tons if sizes with it. ( had to remove that photo, I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to post it yet:)

3- Thinlit Card Pop Up kits (again, not the official name but its midnight and I can't remember!) this one I was especially excited with because you can easily make moving cards with it. ( had to remove that photo, I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to post it yet:)

Them, we did classes, make and takes, took lots of pictures, broke for dinner and returned for Awards Night and a celebration social! Whew, I'm exhausted but had lots of fun

It's not often that I get to go somewhere, have projects all laid out for me to just arrive and stamp... Fun!!

MORE Convention fun!

Still here at Convention having fun. We are getting TONS of ideas and seeing many new products.  

So the last few mornings I have run into our Luv 2 Stamp group while waiting for my friend/downline Alisha.  She never arrived when I am with the group until a little after. I told Alisha that it seems like I am waiting for my imaginary "friend"!  Lol we both got a good laugh.  Well here is proof!!!  Here are Alisha and I in front of the main stage.
