I'm back! The last two weeks I was super busy getting ready for a class and craft booth that I had this past weekend. So...I have lots to post for you this week.
Today, I am going to teach you how to do stamped candles like the one in the picture.
Here is what you will need:
- Candle
- Wax Paper
- Tissue Paper
- Stamps
- Ink
- Heat Tool
Here are the steps:
- Stamp your image on the tissue paper.
- Cut out the image as close to the tissue paper as possible.
- Cut a piece of wax paper long enough so that wrap it around the candle and have plenty of excess in the back for you to grab on to. Make sure your wax paper width is not taller than your candle.
- Place the stamped tissue on the candle and tightly wrap the wax paper over it. Make sure your hands are on the back of the candle holding the wax paper.
- Then, with the heat tool, heat the area on the candle that has the stamped image on it until you see tissue paper disappear and you can easily peal away the wax paper.
- Repeat, to add more images if you desire.
- Wrap in cello and add a ribbon for an extra professional look.
I hope you enjoyed this lesson in stamped candles. Try it and let me know what you think!
