Favors, Favors,Favors!

Here are some favors I did last week. The first ''for you" was a thank you favor for my class attendees. I used the Big Shot Matchbox die from Stampin' Up!. I used bashful blue DSP and CS on this and loved the fresh look of it. The stamp set I used was Great Friends. Inside are 4 choclate nuggets wrapped in DSP.

This is a possible favor that I will be using for the baptism of a family friend. She asked me to make her some samples and this is the first one. I used retired color Baja Breeze on this on ( I loved that color!). The label was made using a scallop oval punch and small oval punch and brads from SU.
Please contact me at mayramt@hotmail.com for special order requests.

First Communion Favors

This weekend was a few of my husband's cousin's, kids first communions. One of the moms asked me to do favors for the event. The colors were silver and white. I made her a few different samples and this is the one she choose. I think they turned out really cute. The cross hanging from the ribbon is actually a jewelry making item. I was so excited at how much they added to the favor. Simple and elegant was the look that I was going for. I filled them with some paper shred and dove choclates ;)

Please contact me at mayramt@hotmail.com to order these favors. Remember I can customize your colors and a charm to match your event. These run about 2.50 per favor (price might change a little depending on the charm or choclate is selected)

Flower Pot Card

I seen these cards made from several stampers in my stampin team. I loved them and had to try them. I initially thought that they would be a perfect Mother's Day Card. Really, they can be used for lots of occasions. Here are a couple I made. They were easy especially since I used the embosslit Simple Flower die for my Big Shot. You can also get a similar look using your own flower stamps and then cuting out the flower. The flowers actually pull out with a card for you to write your message. You can find instructions on how to make this card at http://sluman.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2009/01/25/flower-pot-pocket-card/ .
You can order a make it yourself kit from me for $7 for 3 cards, plus shipping. You can email me at mayramt@hotmail.com for order instructions.

Box #2

Here are the favors I gave at my workshop this weekend. I filled them with some shredded paper and choclate, of course.
I made the box using the Box #2 die for the Big Shot. It is so simple to assemble this box. All you need is to crease the designated lines and add one piece of sticky tape. Then you decorate it however you want. I used a lot of the free SAB items for this box:
Recipe:
Paper: So Saffron, Delicate Dots (SAB)
Stamps: Yummy (SAB)
Ink: Choclate Chip
Ribbon: Certainly Celery
To order these favors for your event, please email me at (916)849-5393. I can customize them for your colors and theme.

Nugget Boxes

I made these cute little nugget boxes as favors for my workshops this month. The are light mini matchboxes with candy inside. They take a little time to make but I think look great in the end. All you need is candy, a good paper cutter and scorer blade, paper and ribbon.
Please email me if you would like instructions on how to make these boxes or if you would like to order some for your event.
Recipe:
Paper: Certainly Celerey, Delicate Dots DSP
Ribbon: So Saffron

Fifth Avenue Floral, Wedding Style

I was experimenting last night with some wedding items using the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. I came up with an invitation (inspired by Kirsten Kennedy's wedding card), an RSVP card, and a few favors. I used the Big Shot Top Note, Curly Label, and Box #2 die for the Big Shot. I loved everything in my wedding but sometimes I wish I could do it again with all of this great SU stuff!
Please contact me to order any of the items on this wedding blog at mayramt@hotmail.com

Baby Shower

My sister in law's baby shower was yesterday. I had so much fun making her invitations, favors, a onesie bouquet and this onesie card. I love baby showers. I couldn't wait for today so that I could post them and share them with you. All of the items on this blog post are available for order. I can customize them with your event information and colors to match your theme and gender.

The onesie card is great for birth announcements or baby shower invitations. I seen a few variations of this on SCS and thought it was adorable.

The bib card below is ideal for a baby shower invitation. I got the idea for the bib card from another crafter, Patty Bennett.

This introducing card is a birth announcement. The baby picture would be mounted on the green cardstock and the baby's information (weight, birthdate, name, etc.) would be on the pull out tab with the blue ribbon.

This onesie bouquet is great for centerpieces. The best part is that after the shower the mom-to-be could remove the non-sticky tape, wash and use them for the new baby.

Prices for the above items are:

Invitations/Birth Announcements with information printed : $20 for 8, $35 for 16, $55 for 25, $2.00 each additional card

Invitations/Birth Announcements with fill in the blanks: $40 for 20, $2.00 each additional card

Candle Favors: $2.50 each, 15 minimum

Onesie Bouquet: email for price

All projects above can be done in either pink, blue, green or yellow. All orders must be pre-paid at http://www.paypal.com/. Four weeks notice is requested for projects. Shipping fees are not included in the above prices (I will work with you to get the lowest possible shipping/delivery fees).
