One of the perks I get from being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is a monthly magazine filled with ideas and tips. I look forward to getting it every month!  This card was cased directly from the magazine, Stampin' Success.  I love the 3-D look of it and it makes me feel like it's spring.

Kindness Matters

Hello Everyone,

I have been doing so many projects with the Sale-a-Bration 2012 paper and sets lately, that I thought I would take a BRIEF break from those projects to make a different Sale-A-Bration project.  This card features a free item that is in the SAB catalog, but also in the main Idea Book and Catalog.  I have had my eye on this stamp set for a while and quickly selected it as a free SAB item as soon as I was able to. 

This card is a partial-case from the SAB catalog.  In the SAB catalog, they featured this paper pleated ribbon technique I used on this card.  I tried it on mine and added a few of my own touches.  It really gives some depth to the card and has a nice WOW factor in person.  All I did was put snail on the back edge of my Cherry Cobbler cardstock and glued and pleated the strip of Soft Suede CS (punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch) the whole way across the paper.  It is up to you how "pleated" you want your paper ribbon.

Button Buddies- It's Your Day

Hello Everyone!

I seen a card similar to this on Artistic Avenger's blog and loved it.  Here is my version of it.  I normally don't use these colors, but liked the idea of trying something different. This little piggy is from the Button Buddies set.  You can use a button for the nose, or punch it out like I did.

January Valentine Swaps

Hello Everyone ,
I am part of a monthly swap and look forward to getting my swap cards by mail every month. The last set of cards included some Valentines so I thought I'd share them. These are from my friends Carrie and Alisha. The colorful card was cased from www.margaretmoody.typepad.com. The other two I am not sure, but very possibly are cased by other talented stampers.
